Kitchen Assistant

The Kitchen Assistant role exists to support the Head Chef in the preparation and execution of dishes, ensuring quality and consistency in every service.
This role directly impacts kitchen efficiency, operational flow and guest satisfaction. It helps maintain structured processes, proper mise en place and alignment with the restaurant’s culinary and cost standards.
The position addresses the need for a well-organized, agile kitchen operation capable of handling daily service demands without compromising quality.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef in preparing, cooking and plating dishes according to established standards.
Organize and execute daily mise en place to ensure smooth and timely service.
Monitor proper use and storage of ingredients, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
Maintain cleanliness, organization and compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team during service to ensure speed, coordination and quality.
Control portions and support adherence to recipes and defined food cost targets.
Assist in maintaining a structured and efficient workflow during peak hours.
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in a kitchen environment (as chef or assistant chef).
Experience in hospitality or restaurant operations.
English required.
Hands-on, responsible and well-organized profile.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Mandatory requirement: Previous kitchen experience.
