About the Role

We are looking for a purpose-driven builder who believes in sport as a powerful tool to shape character, discipline and opportunity.

As Head of Foundation – Sport & Entrepreneurship, you will take ownership of the next chapter of YOUNG Foundation. You will help define strategic priorities, develop impactful initiatives and build partnerships that allow the Foundation to expand its reach and influence.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone comfortable building initiatives from the ground up. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational execution and strong relationship-building skills.

You will work with a high level of autonomy while remaining closely aligned with the Foundation’s board and the broader YOUNG ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic direction of YOUNG Foundation together with the board
• Identify focus areas, priorities and initiatives aligned with the Foundation’s mission
• Design, launch and scale initiatives that combine sport and entrepreneurship
• Develop mentorship programs and support networks for young entrepreneurs
• Build and manage partnerships with sports clubs, NGOs, schools, universities and entrepreneurial networks
• Develop sponsorship and fundraising opportunities to support the Foundation’s sustainability
• Build relationships with corporate sponsors, donors and philanthropic partners
• Work with the Foundation’s finance lead to ensure transparency around sponsorships, donations and funding allocation
• Track the impact and progress of initiatives and provide regular updates to the board and stakeholders
• Strengthen the connection between YOUNG Foundation and the wider YOUNG ecosystem
• Identify collaboration opportunities with YOUNG ventures, partners and entrepreneurs

Requirements

• Strong affinity with sport, youth development and entrepreneurship
• Experience within non-profit organizations, sports initiatives, social projects or fundraising environments
• Proven ability to build partnerships and develop networks
• Experience with sponsorships, fundraising or donor relations is a strong plus
• Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership and initiative
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to bring structure and execution to projects
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with boards and external stakeholders
• Fluent in English
• Dutch is a strong plus

Conditions

• Part-time role starting at approximately 10 hours per week
